Tina Meier, mother of Megan Meier, who committed suicide on October 16, 2007 after being victimized by cyber bullies, now works to teach others about the harmful effect of internet harassment. She has created the Megan Meier foundation, speaks at schools, and is working with stopcyberbullying.org to raise awareness about the issue. She is photographed in her home in O' Fallon, Mo. with a chalk drawing of her daughter that was given to her by her aunt as a Christmas present the year that Megan died.
